The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major (above and below the surface), using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During the course you will learn how to assist a tired diver at the surface and a panicked diver at the surface. You will practice some search patterns underwater with the aid of a compass to help you locate a missing buddy. You will learn how to surface, assess and transport an unresponsive diver with appropriate recovery for restoring breathing.

DAY 1
Starting watching the PADI video regarding Rescue dive theories and you will start the pool sessions to practice these scenarios.
After the pool sessionsl, and you will have to complete the knowledge reviews.
DAY 2
Knowledge reviews. After completing the classroom session, you will continue to practice the remaining rescue scenarios
in the swimming pool and teach you how to provide emergency oxygen.
DAY 3
You will move to the open water to demonstrate all of your newly acquired skills. You will need to combine all these skills to solve a diver’s problem: Self-rescue, Recognizing and managing stress in other divers, Emergency management and equipment, Rescuing a panicked diver, Rescuing an unresponsive diver.
Certified PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent from other training organizations.
EFR Primary Care and Secondary Care training completed within the last 24 months.
12 years old (12-14 year-olds earn a Junior Rescue Diver certification).
